Philomath Arts

The Philomath Arts Building is a multi-use art facility that houses the Green Heron Art Gallery, Slipstream Clay Studio and a ceramic supply shop. We aim to be a hub for the arts in our community by holding art events monthly, as well as promoting other local art institutions, performance and events.

Green Heron Gallery

This newly formed art gallery is cooperatively run by its local artist members. Host artists will often be working on their art at the desk. The gallery has committed an area to showcase two of our local guilds, the Willamette Ceramics Guild and the Corvallis Art Guild. Work rotates often and guest artists are invited to show in a featured area.

To be considered for a membership or a featured artist spot in the gallery, please email your website link or 10 jpeg images (approx 1200 ppi on the long side), a bio (achievements) and an artist statement (about your work and process). You may be asked to meet the members for an interview. Dues are currently $65 per month + 10% of sales. Duties/commitments are: 1 monthly meeting, 1 monthly gallery sitting day, a committee job of about 4 hours work, attending events and promoting on your social media whenever possible. Consignment opportunities for jewelry, cards and other small gift items are available in the supply shop area (20% commission, no gallery duties)
